Today's Schedule

Don't let the heat intimidate you, it's only there to help you and your practice! The heat allows you to safely take your practice to the next level by increasing your flexibility and strength while simultaneously releasing toxins and stress.

Hatha

A series of postures and breathing exercises designed to help build your strength, elongate muscles, burn fat, tone internal organs, and increase your balance. If you are new to hot yoga, hatha is a great way to get started.

Yin

This is a slow and deep yet, gentle practice. Yin yoga is done primarily on the floor. Poses are held for longer periods of time, allowing gravity to open and stretch joints and muscles. This type of yoga heals and prevents injuries with a strong focus on hips, lower spine, ligaments, and bones.

Sculpt

Sculpt is a total body workout designed to tone every major muscle group. Light free weights are used in this intense, but easy to follow style. Yoga sculpt complements your regular yoga practice, while pushing your strength and flexibility to new heights.

Power/Yin Fusion

This class combines the best of two worlds - power and yin yoga. Half of the hour will be spent in a movement-based power practice to get your blood pumping. The other half of the hour will provide a slow restorative Yin practice to stretch you out. On completion, this class will leave you feeling balanced and restored.

Slow Flow

It's a little more than yin and a little less than a full power class. We've got the heat turned down for this meditative flow that incorporates steady breathing, longer holds of each posture, and easier transitions between the postures. Great place for students just dipping their toes in the yoga water!

Power

This style of yoga consists of a series of postures that flow together in continuous movement. The dynamic pulse of a power class increases cardiovascular health, burns fat, and builds long, lean muscle. Each instructor brings his or her own personality to this style of yoga; no two classes - or music playlists - will be the same, which guarantees a different experience each time you practice.

Prenatal Yoga

Prenatal yoga is a style designed for pregnant women to practice, regardless of their due date.

The mixture of stretching, controlled breathing and mental focus offers a variety of benefits to expectant mothers. This form of yoga can also increase strength and flexibility in the muscles used during childbirth.

Kundalini

Kundalini, simply put, is an energy based practice. The movements, breathing and meditations work together to  awaken and raise our highest selves. This practice, Kundalini, is also known as the yoga of awareness. To become more conscious of our habits, our thoughts and what we project into the world and therefore ourselves.

Infinity Flow

Infinity Flow is a mixture of Slow Flow and Power. First move slowly through a long series of postures, then flow through again one breath to one movement. A great class to expose yourself to different postures, stretches, and challenges

Tips

Look at you trying something new!

Please don't be anxious about your first class, we were all first time yogis at one point! We are always available to answer any questions you may have, but in the meantime, here are a few tips.

Please arrive 15-20 minutes early to your first class.

If you haven't already registered online, this will give us time to do that, show you the studio, and answer any questions you may have. It also gives you time to set up your mat and chill out.

Avoid eating a big, heavy meal before your class.

We recommend that you refrain from eating a large meal before class, instead choosing fruits, vegetables, and high protein snacks. Come well hydrated - drink water throughout the day, both before and after your class.

Wear comfortable workout clothing.

The studio is heated, so come prepared to sweat. Breathable and stretchable fabrics are ideal. Please, no shoes in the studio – for us Pacific Northwest natives, this is good chance to dust off your flip-flops. They are easy to slip on and off in either the locker room or just outside the studio door. Need some snazzy yoga clothes? You are in luck. Our studios offer a variety of yoga products available for purchase!

Please bring a yoga mat, a large towel to place on your mat, and a water bottle.

We highly recommend Yogitoes ® - sustainable, yoga towels that are designed to prevent slipping. They are available in the lobby for purchase or to rent. We have mat cleaner in the studio for you to use (also for sale in the lobby) if your mat could use a little sanitizing after class.

Props.

We have straps, blocks, residence bands and weights (for Sculpt) for you to use during your practice. All equipment is washed and/or sanitized frequently.

There is a women’s and men’s locker room at both the Marysville and Snohomish studios.

Locker rooms are equipped with a shower for your convenience. There are cubbies available to store your belongings in the women’s locker room and in the studio. If there is not a receptionist in the lobby during your class, the front door will be locked. If you feel more comfortable bringing your purse or wallet into the studio, please feel free to do so. We do ask that you kindly turn your cell phone off – not everyone wants to hear your Justin Bieber ringtone in savasana.

Stay in the studio during class.

Coming late and leaving during class is distracting to others. If an emergency requires you to leave, please exit quietly and be sure to make eye contact with the instructor.

Once in the studio, please be as quiet as possible.

Calm your mind before and after your class. This is your – and your neighbor’s – escape from the loud, demanding world we live in.

If you are worried about the heat, don’t be.

The heat is there to help you. And while it’s hot, it’s not crazy hot. Our state-of-the-art heating and humidification system is designed to provide the optimal environment for each style of yoga we offer. It can take several classes to fully acclimate to practicing in a heated room. There is no rush. Take your time and lay down to rest when you need to. After all, it’s yoga practice, not yoga perfect.

Be kind to yourself and others.

Be proud of yourself (and those around you) for taking the time, putting yourself first, and doing something that is good for your mind, body, and soul.  Be gentle and kind to yourself.  You are here, you are present, and you are breathing and sweating.  The rest is just a bonus.

You are about to embark on a healthful journey with amazing rewards – including improved sleep, weight loss, stress reduction and increased flexibility. Plus, you get to be part of your community.
Enjoy the journey – have fun!
